Visual field testing maps your visual field and can detect any abnormalities or changes to your field of vision. Lights are flashed at various points inside a concave bowl which you respond to by pressing a button each time that you see one appear. Visual field testing is used to help detect and accurately monitor conditions such as glaucoma, developing tumours, retinal tears and many other diseases.
